Representatives from countries, international organisations, industry active in the mineral supply chain, civil society and other experts are invited to participate in the Forum.

The Forum will provide the opportunity to review and discuss implementation of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and other related initiatives to enable responsible mineral production and sourcing. It will feature sessions on global uptake trends, contrasting harmful disengagement from high-risk areas with risk mitigation, and regulatory and policy developments. Other sessions will present new resources developed as part of the OECD implementation programme for the Guidance, including an FAQ on corruption risks, a report on trends in risk reporting across mineral supply chains, and a discussion on the cost and value of responsible sourcing.

In the run-up to the Forum, two technical webinars will take place :

  • 12 April, 15-17h CET: the first will look at addressing security risks around mine site, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance.

Please REGISTER HERE.

  • 20 April, 15-17h CET: Implementing Gender-Responsive Due Diligence in co-operation with the Women’s Rights and Mining group.

Please REGISTER HERE.

On 26, 29 and 30 April, over 40 sessions will be organised by partners. A partners sessions Agenda is available on the Forum platform (which keeps being updated).
